If you love Neil Young, this is the acoustic show for you. Neil doesn’t tour that much anymore, but you can see him at The Academy in the person of LARRY SHEPHERD. Larry looks and sounds like Neil and has been playing his music since age 15. Add GERALD VAN HALTEREN – one of the area’s best guitar pickers and singers, and you are in for an excellent musical treat. The two have been sharing stages since the 1990s all the way from Massey Hall to Mont Tremblant and Montreal. ONLY YOUNG and their band played The Hard Rock in Toronto during the 2003 Sars event that saved Toronto’s tourism, and Larry and Gerald have opened for an impressive list of acts including April Wine, Trouper, Kim Mitchell, and Edgar Winter.
